TAB Group Brings Industry Leaders Together to Explore the Future of Vertical Farming

Upcoming Webinar to Examine How Artificial Intelligence, Automation, and Smart Growing Technologies Could Make Indoor Agriculture More Efficient and Profitable

Dubai, UAE, 14 October 2026 – Vertical farming is gaining attention as growers and agricultural businesses look for new ways to produce fresh food while making better use of available space and resources. As technology continues to reshape agriculture, TAB Group is bringing industry experts together for a webinar to discuss the opportunities, challenges, and commercial potential of this growing sector.

Titled “The Future of Vertical Farming: Where Innovation Meets Commercial Growth,” the online session is scheduled for Thursday, October 15, 2026. The discussion will focus on how artificial intelligence, automation, advanced greenhouse systems, and other agricultural technologies could influence the next stage of indoor farming.

Unlike traditional farming, vertical farming involves growing crops in stacked layers, often inside buildings or specially designed facilities. These systems can give growers greater control over lighting, temperature, humidity, and water supply. By managing these conditions, farmers can produce crops throughout the year and make better use of limited growing space.

However, building a successful vertical farm requires more than installing advanced equipment. Growers must also manage energy consumption, operating costs, crop quality, and production levels. The challenge is to develop systems that are not only technologically advanced but also financially sustainable.

The webinar will bring together professionals from farming, agricultural technology, and industry development to examine these issues. The panel will feature Serene Farah, Vice President of Growth at Pure Harvest Smart Farms; Ben Crowther, CTO and Co-Founder of LettUs Grow; Varija Khanna, Chief of Staff at Nutrifresh Farms; and Maksim Gadzhimuradov, Founder and CTO of Solar Crops Systems and Technical Development Consultant at Greeneration.

The discussion will also include Eng. Mohammed Abdelgabar Abdelwahab, Project Manager at the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development, and Samiullah, Farm Manager and Agriculture Engineer at Veggitech Farm. Khushi Bisht of TAB Group will moderate the session.

One of the central topics will be the growing role of artificial intelligence in agriculture. AI powered systems can help farmers monitor growing conditions, analyse crop data, and identify changes that may affect plant health. When combined with automation, these technologies can reduce repetitive work and help growers make more informed decisions.

Precision agriculture will also feature in the discussion. This approach uses data and monitoring tools to manage resources more carefully, helping farms improve crop consistency while reducing unnecessary water and nutrient use. Advanced greenhouse technologies and controlled environment agriculture are expected to form another important part of the conversation.

Beyond technology, the panel will examine how vertical farming businesses can expand their operations without losing control of costs or product quality. Commercial growth depends on finding the right balance between production capacity, resource efficiency, market demand, and operating expenses.

The webinar is intended for growers, investors, agribusiness leaders, technology providers, and agriculture professionals interested in the future of food production. By bringing different industry perspectives together, the session aims to offer a clearer understanding of the technologies and business strategies shaping indoor agriculture.

As demand for efficient food production continues to encourage new approaches, vertical farming will need to demonstrate that innovation can deliver practical and commercially viable results. Discussions such as this can help industry participants assess emerging solutions and identify opportunities for future development.
